The applicant shall provide instrumentation for all music associated with worship such as preludes, postludes, congregational singing, music offertories, anthems, choral music, and service music at both the scheduled Sunday services; Liturgical and Contemporary Protestant Services
The applicant shall coordinate with the Pastor on all instrumental music and songs for each service, as well as the special/seasonal services
The applicant will be practicing with choir prior to services
The applicant will provide rehearsals for musicians/choir
The applicant shall develop, promote, and enhance the choral ministry program in the chapel community
Qualifications :
The applicant shall possess vocal skills to include the ability to sing on key and to be able to recognize a basic melody from musical text
Education / Experience:
The applicant shall have written evidence of at least five (5) years of current experience as an organist in a military chapel or civilian church
The applicant shall possess the American Guild of Organists (AGO) certification at the basic level
