The Music Operations Assistant is responsible for supporting the Operations team with the planning, processes and entry of data and assets for the Integrity and Integrated Music Rights catalogs. Particularly focusing on aiding the Integrated Operations Coordinator with ingestion of assets for new releases as well as detailed catalog ingestion for OpenPlay and CCLI on large third party catalogues. This role will assist in uploading assets to Box and OpenPlay, setting up new releases as well as sending release metadata downstream to third parties. This role will also be integral in cataloging Integrity Music’s rich back catalog, documenting historical data and assets into Box and OpenPlay, ultimately helping to digitize and release content to DSPs.
Job Description
Assist with data clean up, data entry for metadata relating to Integrated Music Rights and Integrity Music catalogs, particularly for new releases as well as larger external back catalogue ingestion into Integrity Music systems.
Participate in the review of metadata to ensure accuracy and make corrections where necessary.
Participate in adding assets to catalog (i.e., audio, STEMS, artwork, etc.).
Collaborate with Operations and Technology teams on other projects as assigned.
Aid in the cataloging and digitizing of Integrity Music back catalog currently housed in an offsite storage unit. This includes working offsite 1x a week.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Formal Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Degree in Music Business or Business preferred.
Experience: Excellent knowledge of Excel. Experience of databases, music metadata, and with OpenPlay.
Specialized Knowledge/Certification: Energy, with a desire to input ideas and activity towards building a strong music database. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to contribute individually and participate in cross functional team.
