Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Music Director. The Music Director will be responsible for leading and directing the music ministry of the church. This includes planning and coordinating music for worship services, conducting rehearsals with the choir and musicians, and selecting appropriate hymns and songs. Most work from home is acceptable, but candidate must be available for Sunday worship services at 10am as well as work out times to be onsite for rehearsals amongst the musical groups they oversee.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Music Theory
Possesses strong Christian values and ability to lead and manage in a positive and effective manner
Experience in Church Music
Detail-oriented organization, planning, budget, and financial stewardship skills required
Ability to collaborate and work with a diverse group of individuals
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Experience in conducting and directing vocal and instrumental ensembles
Bachelor's degree in Music or related field
