Faculty Position Opening in Multimedia and Interactive Business Technology
SCC is seeking a dedicated individual for a full-time faculty position in Multimedia and Interactive Business Technology, starting in Fall 2023. The ideal candidate should excel in teaching, student assessment, and utilize technology for effective instruction. Responsibilities include teaching on-campus, online, and remotely, and participating in collaborative student performance assessments and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver a minimum of 15 credit hours per semester following course descriptions and institutional policies.
Develop course curriculum and materials independently or collaboratively.
Participate in student groups, such as Phi Beta Lambda.
Contribute to departmental and college-wide committees.
Understanding of diverse student needs.
Requirements
Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.
Knowledge of Quality Matters standards or willingness to learn.
Strong attendance record.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous college-level teaching experience.
Competency in online instruction.
Enthusiasm for incorporating technology in teaching.
Commitment to maintaining high teaching standards.
