Qualifications
- Must be fluent and literate in Spanish as well as English in order to provide translation and interpreting services.
- Must be familiar with the US education system as well as education in the native culture.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and respectfully with students, parents, and the school community, using strong cross cultural and interpersonal skills. Professional, courteous behavior is expected.
- Basic knowledge of computers preferred. Experience as a professional interpreter would be an asset, but is not required.
