Motorcycle Technician

Ocean BMW Motorrad Falmouth are looking to recruit a full-time Motorcycle Technician to join our experienced team in our premium franchised dealership. Our busy site sells new and used motorcycles, making it one of the most dynamic dealerships to work in across the South West.

Your role

As a Motorcycle Technician you'll spend most of your time in our workshop maintaining our New and Used Motorcycles to the high standards expected. It involves carrying out inspections, repairs and services, checking motorcycles against VOSA legislation, and handling and storing parts.

You'll also make sure all necessary Visual Health Checks are completed, that paperwork is accurate and up to date. You will be responsible for ensuring all jobs are completed within agreed timeframes and that a high level of productivity is maintained. You will communicate with the Aftersales team so that the customer is updated on the progress of their motorcycle. You will deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Your profile

• In this role you will be responsible for servicing and repairing predominantly BMW Motorcycles.
• You must be able to use current diagnostic equipment as well as the ability to liaise and discuss technical explanations in a manner that is easily understood by a customer.
• You have technical excellence and outstanding customer service skills.
• You have experience of modern motorcycles and scooters with the ability to work unsupervised in a safe and timely manner to high exacting standards
• You will possess relevant formal qualifications.
• You hold a full A category motorcycle licence.

Competitive salary with an uncapped OTE of £33,600.
