Mortgage Processing Manager

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: Manage the processing operations establishing monthly goals, oversee staffing, and ensuring the successful growth of the department. Manager will ensure company goals are met.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee daily operations of the Processing team, including establishing and exceeding goals, team staffing, and training.
  • Supervise the daily activities of Mortgage Processors.
  • Ensure effective pipeline management.
  • Monitor and enforce Processor training.
  • Ensure customer service standards are met and exceeded.
  • Negotiate and work to resolve problems with Loan Officers.
  • Maintain and update policies and procedures for the department.
  • Communicate with other departments including but not limited to sales, executive management, legal, compliance, and other support departments.
  • Communicate effectively with appropriate departments when service levels are at risk.
  • Identify issues and recommend areas for improvement.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.


EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree required


EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in the Mortgage industry required.
  • Minimum of 2 to 10+ years of supervisor or management experience in operations within the mortgage industry. Highly proficient in communicating both written and orally to small or large teams. Ability to deliver the company direction to all team members.
