Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team on a hybrid/remote basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and organizing mortgage loan applications from submission to final approval. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of mortgage lending regulations, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Review and verify mortgage applications for completeness and accuracy.
Ensure all required documentation is included in the loan file.
Communicate effectively with loan officers, underwriters, and clients to clear any outstanding conditions.
Order and review credit reports, appraisals, title reports, and other necessary documentation.
Maintain regular communication with all parties involved to provide status updates and ensure timely closings.
Evaluate income, assets, and credit profiles to assess borrower eligibility.
Ensure compliance with company policies, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the mortgage process.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Mortgage Loan Processor or similar role in the mortgage industry.
In-depth knowledge of mortgage loan products, procedures, and regulations.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred.
