Mortgage Loan Processor

Position is remote, although we would prefer someone in the EST or time zone or someone willing to work EST hours. RECENT wholesale mortgage experience is a requirement! Guideline knowledge and the ability to calculate income are also requirements. Looking for current working knowledge of both Arive and Lending Pad. Looking for someone that is resourceful and willing to take ownership of the process. If you meet the above criteria, an assessment will be sent out to confirm your knowledge. This position is a contract processing position, pay is on a per file, closed loan basis.

Mortgage Loan Processor Responsibilities:

• Scrub the file once received
• Upload 3.4 to the lenders portal
• Prepare disclosures
• Submit file to underwriting
• Order any needed documents
• Communicate with the borrower on additional documentation needed for underwriting
• Update LOS system in a timely manner with all updates
• Communicate with LO and all parties on the status of the loan
• Get the file to CTC
• Balance with title if needed

Mortgage Loan Processor Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent. College degree in finance, real estate or related field preferred 
• Spanish speaking preferred, Portuguese a plus
• At least 3+ years of work experience working as a mortgage loan partner, loan officer assistant, mortgage underwriter or other related field preferred
• Possess experience and understanding of different loan products, such as conventional, FHA/VA, adjustable/fixed rate, HELOCS, non-QM, commercial, etc. 
• Have experience calculating income of all types for all loan products
• Highly motivated and great attention to detail with excellent customer service and communication skills
• Computer proficiency required, including but not limited to: Google workspace, Arive, Clickup, Word and Excel
