ML/AI Quant Researcher

An industry leading prop trading firm is seeking exception talent across Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science and Statistics to apply cutting edge research to the global financial markets. As a member of this team you will design, develop and implement technologies and strategies that will lead the industry, and will have the opportunity to collaborate with leading global researchers daily.

This ML/AI research team in a central group made up of quantitative researchers, engineers, ML and AI experts. The goal is to combine industry leading techniques and models to generate original alpha signals and optimize internal processes.

Skills Required:

• 3+ year track record of ML/AI systems research in industry and/or academia
• Excellent technical ML background with exposure to LLM aspect such as transformers, SSMs, etc.
• Proficiency in common coding skills such Python and/or C++
• Expertise with ML libraries and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and/or JAX
• Ability to independently reason through quantitative problems and communicate effectively with peers

Additional Skills Preferred:

• Prior or current academic publications and/or contributions to ML or AI research
• Experience with end-to-end model research and development, especially in LLMs or NLP
