Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement engineering strategies that align with company goals and market demands.
Product Development: Oversee the design, development, and enhancement of marine products, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards.
Project Management: Manage multiple engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including manufacturing, sales, and marketing, to ensure cohesive product development and launch.
Innovation: Drive continuous improvement and innovation in product design and engineering processes.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all engineering projects comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). A Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience: 10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the marine or a related industry.
Technical Skills: Strong background in product development, CAD software, and project management tools.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing engineering teams.
Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Passion: A passion for the marine industry and a drive to innovate and improve product offerings.
