Responsibilities
Work diligently to achieve student achievement and cultivate a positive classroom culture in alignment with state-specific academic standards.
Facilitate engaging live lessons via web conferencing, utilizing research-backed instructional methods tailored to individual student needs.
Set up courses within the Learning Management System and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and grading.
Maintain regular communication with students and families, collaborating with the Principal to deliver progress reports.
Utilize student data to inform instructional adjustments and differentiate teaching strategies.
Foster a nurturing classroom environment, integrating culturally responsive teaching practices and 21st-century technology skills.
Participate in non-instructional activities such as social events and field trips, supporting in-person state testing as required.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive school culture.
Qualifications
Current state teaching license in the appropriate content area.
Familiarity with State and Common Core Standards.
Preferred Minimum Of Two Years' Teaching Experience.
Comfortable working within a growth-focused coaching environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and supervise students.
Clear federal and state background checks required.
