The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leveraged finance, asset-based lending, and private placements and be able to manage client relationships effectively.Job Duties:Counsel lenders, investors, borrowers, and issuers in leveraged finance transactions.Handle asset-based lending, private placements, unitranche, first lien/second lien, and mezzanine financings.Work on both leveraged and investment-grade lending transactions.Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, including credit, security, and inter-creditor agreements.Conduct due diligence reviews and prepare related reports.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Georgia State Bar or ability to waive into the bar.3-5 years of experience in leveraged finance transactions at a reputable law firm.Excellent academic credentials from a top-tier law school.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Certifications (Preferred):Certification in Financial Services or Banking Law (e.g., Certified Financial Services Counselor (CFSC)).Skills:Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Client-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.Other:Previous experience working with large financial institutions and corporate clients preferred.Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
