Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst

Our client, a leader in the renewable energy space, is searching for a Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst to join their growing team! This role will report to the VP, and serve as key part of potential acquisition processes. This company is in a massive phase of growth, and continues to make strategic acquisitions as they grow. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with a background in financial advisory looking to go in-house and make a true impact in the company, and on the planet!

This role is hybrid in Bethesda, Maryland.

Responsibilities:

• Research and present findings on potential M&A opportunities
• Present data illustrating M&A feasibility, risk and return
• Lead due diligence efforts, collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders
• Spearhead end-to-end deal execution, working closely with the VP
• Research competitors & market trends in the renewable energy space

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance
• 2+ years of experience in financial valuation & M&A research
• Experience in the renewable energy market is a huge plus
• Extreme proficiency in financial modeling and presenting data
• Ability to own the research and data analysis process- must be a self-starter
