Merchandiser
We are looking for a Merchandiser Specialist/Demand Planner to join the current Merchandising Team. You will work with the current Merchandiser & Product Manager, Buyer, and Associate Imports Planner to drive innovation. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Inventory Management: Collaborate closely with our Re-Order teams to skillfully manage inventory composition for new, re-order, and core styles within your assigned product categories. You'll be the mastermind behind our product assortment.
- Crafting Collection Parameters: Shape the future collections by creating a comprehensive line plan, defining key collection parameters such as the number of styles, SCUs per color, and season-specific development targets.
- Data-Driven Assortment Plans: Harness the power of historical and trend SKU productivity performance to craft pre-season assortment plans. Your data-driven approach will ensure our product offerings hit the mark every season.
- Launch Excellence: Analyze inventory and product launches, collaborating seamlessly with our Site Merchandising team to orchestrate successful collection launches with our retail partners.
- Reporting Guru: Aid in the execution and distribution of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for the Merchandising department. Your insights will be instrumental in shaping our strategies.
- Strategic Hindsight: Conduct quarterly recaps for your assigned product categories, using insights to drive future decisions on inventory, profit, and assortment. Your input will shape our future direction.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Experience Matters: A minimum of three years of experience in Merchandise Planning, Inventory Management, or a similar role within the fashion apparel industry.
- E-commerce Savvy: Proficiency in using Shopify as an eCommerce
- Tech Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and G Suite
- Data Whiz: Experience with data analysis and the ability to recommend solutions based on insights. Your analytical skills will be your superpower.
- Education: A BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- Work Schedule: This position offers a stable Monday to Friday schedule during core business hours and requires an onsite presence.
