Merchandise Marketing Assistant

We are seeking an individual who is creative, experienced, enthusiastic, organized and self-motivated to join our team as a Merchandise Marketing Assistant. As a member of the company’s Marketing and Ecommerce team, this individual will play an important role in the development and growth of our direct-to-consumer business. This is a position with growth potential if you are passionate and driven to go above and beyond the job description. The position is based on-site in Los Angeles, CA.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Coordinate photo shoot schedule
• Book models, send call sheets, and organize samples prior to shoots
• Create seasonal marketing assets – look books, imagery, etc.
• Edit images and maintain marketing asset library
• Work with 3rd party agency to coordinate social media
• Create and maintain sales and marketing reports
• Assist customer service team with wholesale account needs
• Assist with ecommerce product uploads
• Assist with creation of catalogs through graphic design and copywriting
• Help with organizing photo shoots and styling on set
• Organize our library of our marketing assets (images, video content, etc); as well as keep assets up to date and organized on a seasonal basis
• Update and improve company decks, presentations, and case studies
• Create purchase orders, process invoices and track/create basic financial reports for projects; Review and file invoices, update spreadsheets
• Assist with special projects, conduct research, and compile information as needed

Candidate Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in the apparel industry
• Ecommerce experience preferred
• Strong comfort with Adobe Suite - Photoshop and InDesign skills are a must
• Copywriting experience
• Strong English grammar, spelling, and stylistic skills
