Merchandise Coordinator

Our client, a denim brand based in San Francisco, is looking for a Merchandise Coordinator to join their team for a 6 month contract! This role will be a hybrid position working onsite Tuesday through Thursday.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure data-entry integrity and maintenance of seasonal product integrity in PLM
• Sample management and organization for assigned global product categories
• Contribute to some aspects of Product Development activities
• Act as a conduit of information, materials, and samples to regions and cross-functional teams
• Create and maintain line plans and communicate plans with key cross-functional business partners
• Assist Merchants with preparation for product performance reviews and sell-out reports
• Assist with targeted consumer and competitor research via market shopping and fashion publications
• Conduct administrative work for the merchandising team as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in an apparel related field
• 1 years of relevant experience in inventory/sample management, merchandising, etc.
• Strong knowledge and proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills across teams and levels
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
• Passion for the apparel industry and the consumer
• Proven ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
