The Psychotherapist is responsible for delivering diagnostic assessments, therapeutic treatments, and support services to a diverse caseload including adults, adolescents, and children. These outpatient psychotherapy services will be conducted via teletherapy or in-person, with an average caseload of 20+ clients.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive individual therapy, family counseling, group therapy, or marital/couples treatment.
Perform clinically sound diagnostic assessments and develop effective treatment plans for clients of various age groups.
Maintain strict confidentiality of client records.
Submit clinical notes for billing purposes within 24 hours of treatment and 72 hours for assessments.
Utilize healthcare software (EMR) and computer systems proficiently, including TherapyNotes.
Demonstrate clear and professional written and oral communication with clients.
Participate in supervision, case reviews, and monthly staff meetings as required.
Qualifications
Must hold a valid license in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling in the state of Maryland and/or the District of Columbia.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in diagnostic assessment and therapeutic treatment services.
Flexibility in work schedule, including availability for evenings and weekends.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational abilities.
Submission of a writing sample is required.
Designated remote work area/office that complies with HIPAA standards, including high-speed internet, computer, chair, table, and a secure door.
Completion of CAQH application and possession of an Individual NPI number.
Possession of a professional malpractice liability insurance policy.
