Job Overview:
Nexus Counseling Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in counseling and a passion for helping others. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families with various mental health concerns. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client population and make a meaningful difference in their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs
Develop and implement treatment plans based on clients’ individual needs
Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions
Utilize evidence-based techniques and methods to help clients achieve their treatment goals
Keep accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and treatment
Collaborate with other members of the therapy team to ensure the best care for clients
Attend regular clinical supervision and team meetings
Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, psychology, or related field
Current state licensure as a mental health therapist (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent)
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a clinical setting
Strong understanding of various therapeutic approaches and techniques
Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients
Compassionate and non-judgmental attitude towards clients
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Experience working with a diverse client population
Salary: $39,000 to $60,000 yearly
