Mental Health Therapist

Alta Loma Transformational Services is hiring for a Full Time Master’s Level Therapist at our facilities located in Georgetown, TX. This is an exempt position with normal business hours Monday-Friday. Experience preferred with Substance Abuse and complex Mental Health issues. DBT and EMDR experience preferred. Job Duties: Conducts dual diagnosis (mental health/substance abuse) groups and completes group notes in a timely manner. Provides individual therapy services to residents. Shares pertinent information with team as obtained from residents’ families or others, as indicated, throughout program. Evaluates the efficacy of therapeutic interventions on residents and the therapeutic milieu. Communicates with clinical, medical, and administrative staff regarding resident issues or concerns. Adheres to all facility, State, and Federal policies and procedures concerning resident confidentiality, rights, and anonymity. Assures that appropriate boundaries and ethical behavior are maintained at all times with residents, families, and other professionals. Communicates clearly and efficiently. Participates in weekly staff meetings. Provides resident support services. Creates and maintains a safe, comfortable, and resident-focused treatment environment. Ensures resident safety at all times. Fills in for any absence of staff on an as-needed basis. Performs other duties assigned by management or leadership. Requirements: Current valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Alta Loma Transformational Services is a long-term care facility for men seeking treatment for Mental Health and Substance Abuse needs.
