We are currently seeking a full-time direct-hire Therapist for an Outpatient Clinic. The Therapist provides a broad range of Therapeutic and psychiatric social work services to individuals with a mental health, substance use, physical health, or co-occurring disorders.
This position has a pay rate of $25.00 per hr. and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience.
Work Hours: 10:00am-5:00pm (no weekends)
Qualifications
Required
Master's degree in Social Work or related field
LLMSW or LMSW
CAADC is preferred
At least one (1) year of clinical experience working with individuals with mental illnesses, substance use disorders and/or developmental disabilities
A valid State of Michigan Driver's License and an acceptable driving record
What you’ll be doing:
Provide individual and group therapy for individuals with Mental Health or Co-Occurring disorders
Conduct intakes and submit treatment recommendations
Ensure regular assessments are conducted with a person-centered approach for those receiving services
Maintain an audit-ready case load at all times
Keep accurate documentation for successful entry into Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and timely billing
Facilitate crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and stress management
Make immediate responses to emergencies and referrals to supportive services
Collaborate with families, staff, and community service providers, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills essential for providing mental health services to patients and their natural support systems
Exhibit knowledge of principles and processes for delivering customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards, and evaluating customer satisfaction
