Engagement Description
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Medicare Advantage Employer-Group Member Materials Specialist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing, reviewing, and refining essential communication materials for our valued members.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders across various business areas and fellow communication specialists within our dynamic Individual, Provider, and Member Operational Communications Development Team.
Report to the Member Operational Communications Supervisor and Communications and Training Development Manager.
Top 3 Required Skills/Experience
Exceptional proofreading, editing, and document formatting abilities.
Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Suite and Microsoft Word.
Strong analytical skills, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Required Skills/Experience
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or Journalism.
Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within established guidelines.
Previous experience in writing for healthcare or similarly regulated industries, with a keen eye for detail.
Comfortable working in a sometimes bustling office environment or transitioning seamlessly to remote work when necessary.
Preferred Skills/Experience
Familiarity with Medicare and other programs supporting the senior population.
Versatility in writing various content types, including articles, letters, manuals, and brochures.
Education/Certifications
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or Journalism.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Competitive hourly rate ($32.00 per hour)
Expected Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
