Requirements
Graduation from an accredited school of social work
Minimum of 2 years' experience in social work, preferably in an acute care setting
Effective communication skills
Knowledge of current community services
Reliability and a positive attitude that fosters a cooperative atmosphere
Knowledge
Clinical expertise and critical thinking ability to plan and coordinate patient care in accordance with standards and regulations
Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to effectively solve problems and consult with supervisors as needed
Familiarity with current Medicare, Medi-Cal, State, and Federal regulations
