Medical Science Liaison

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) reports to the Executive Director, Field Medical or Sr. MSL/Executive MSL. Serving as a field based extension to the Medical Affairs Department, the MSL will represent TerSera Therapeutics as a field based medical expert to deliver

clinical and scientific data, as well as technical and practical information to opinion leaders within the academic and community settings.

Essential Functions:

*Develop, enhance, and leverage key opinion leader (KOL) relationships in therapeutic areas of interest to Company

1. Academic and Community Opinion Leaders
2. Medical Society’s
3. Oncology Cooperative Groups

*Enhance scientific expertise of external stakeholders via scientific exchange

*Provide key field insights/competitive intelligence to home office medical affairs and cross functional teams in a timely manner

*Attend key national and regional medical conferences of interest to Company and report findings back to key internal stakeholders. In addition, provide medical coverage at company events/booths at such meetings

*Respond to medical information requests from HCPs as received by Company

*Assist in the development of and training of cross functional groups on key scientific topics of interest to company

*Assist in the development of and execution of Company related advisory board meetings and focus groups

*Provide key payer presentations in key accounts as identified and requested by Medical Affairs home office and other cross functional teams

*Collaborate with R&D/Clinical teams to support ongoing or pending research projects

*Serve as a liaison between investigators and internal stakeholders in support of investigator initiated research

*Actively participate in Medical Affairs and other cross functional projects

Experience/Qualifications

• PharmD, PhD, MD, or BSN/NP
• Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry experience; or demonstrated knowledge of how the pharmaceutical industry works
• Demonstrated knowledge and awareness of therapeutic areas of interest to TerSera Therapeutics.
• Clinical and/or research experience within the US Healthcare System
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to understand and effectively communicate complex scientific data
• Demonstrated ability and capacity to network and establish key relationships
• Proven track record of teamwork, leadership, timely decision making and results orientation in meeting key objectives
• Ability to travel overnight 60-80% of the time
• Valid driver’s license with appropriate driving record history.
