Medical Practice Manager

Seeking Medical Practice Manager/Biller for Surgical Practice in Stockbridge GA!

Startup practice seeking an ambitious and dedicated Practice Manager! This position interacts with Physicians and staff in all areas of the practice, and with the practice’s external partners including referring sources, accountant, advisors, vendors, I.T. support. Requires 3+ years of experience in medical practice operations, hands on experience in all aspects of credentialing and medical billing, bookkeeping and personnel management including:

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Oversight and performance of day-to-day operations of medical practice including check-in/out, insurance verification, referrals, prior authorizations, managing administrative staff, scheduling and claims submission and follow ups
• Strong accounts payable and bookkeeping skills; experience using Quick Books, working with a payroll service, employee benefits and expense control
• Timely contracting, credentialing and licensing renewals with hospitals and third-party payers
• Leadership of personnel functions including interviewing, hiring, training and developing employees and other H/R related functions.
• Assisting with establishing a culture of excellent customer service and addressing patient issues in a timely manner.
• Hands-on experience in all aspects of medical practice operations, including front desk, revenue cycle, authorizations, time-of-service collections, coding, charge review, claims submission through clearinghouse, electronic payment posting, A/R follow-up, month-end close and reporting.
• Familiarity with wage and hour regulations, excellent leadership and team management skills; experience with personnel, benefits, on boarding, training and staff development
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities; ability to prioritize tasks
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in fast-paced environment with changing demands
