Supports and conducts the following responsibilities under the supervision of the Global Director of Medical & Scientific affairs:
DivIHN, the 'IT Asset Performance Services' organization, provides Professional Consulting, Custom Projects, and Professional Resource Augmentation services to clients in the Mid-West and beyond. Description
- This position is NonExempt and hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half.
- Manage Phases I IV domestic and international clinical research studies.
- Responsibilities include protocol design and development, case report form development, contract negotiation, site recruitment, support program management for project reviews, budget and timeline development, establishing relationships with outside vendors, medical consultants and partners, providing IND and NDA summary reports, interface with interdisciplinary teams, monitor project timelines, develop project management tools, and provide project presentations.
- 0-3 Years Experience Level.
- Looking for 1-3 years of medical affairs management experience.
- MD required Must be located in the Chicago area but will be remote.
- Will go into the office for meetings about once per week.
- Flexible schedule within working hours 1 yr duration with extension potential (up to 3-4 yrs)
- Supports Global Director of Medical & Scientific Affairs to defining medical affairs strategy and conduct medical activities related to IVDR process. .
Supports and conducts the following responsibilities under the supervision of the Global Director of Medical & Scientific affairs:
- Functions as a scientific/medical liaison to key stakeholders in the IVDR core team
- Drives and generates medical actions in order to resolve medical/scientific issues related to different IVDR actions required by the team.
- Participate in all IVDR meetings in order to represent Medical Affairs functions and provide support for all medical needs identified by the IVDR team.
- Review published literature and real-life published evidence related to our products, analyze and present in the format needed, to support the IVDR team in remediating needs.
- Collaborates on planning and execution of Advisory Board Meetings or other non-promotional medical projects in order to provide the medical evidence needed for the IVDR process.
- Provides sound and up-to-date medical information, disease knowledge and medical training when necessary to other business functions.
- Drives medical scientific knowledge, reviews medical literature, generates potential new different ideas to enhance and maximize potential benefits for disease management and patient care.
- Maintains all relevant documentation for medical affairs projects and activities for compliance, including related to IVDR process.
- Contributes to medical education content generation for digital activities and platforms intended for patients and HCPs.
- Identifies & oversees establishment and maintenance of scientific collaborative relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), accountable and responsible for KOL development, KOL engagement, and approaching KOLs for provision of services.
- M.D. required
- Good understanding and experience in the conduct of clinical trials or in medical research in the industry or academia or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years + of experience in related role in the industry.
- Experience in seeking medical information and writing medical documents
- Prior experience in a global medical affairs role is desirable.
- Must have attention to detail, able to work in a team environment, good organizational skills, and multi-tasking ability.
- Project management skills are needed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- A team of 34 people within the Medical and Clinical team spread over different locations worldwide
- Interviews- 1-3 steps- in-person or Teams depending on the candidate.
- The manager will try to combine interviews to do 1-2 panel interviews if possible.
- Does not need board-certified doctors as long as they have an MD (does not have to be a US degree)
- Need experience in diagnostics infectious diseases, more on the med device side of the experience, not the technology but the molecular testing.
- Will work with - Blood-born, air-born and water-born diseases - someone with the diagnostic infectious disease experience will have a good understanding of this.
- Point of care- rdt, rapid diagnostics and molecular point of care.
- Day-to-day- meetings with manager and team, understanding tasks, looking and searching online for info on specific products, compiling info into a report.
- May provide medical input to the clinical team, conversations online with GOP leader to give input on clinical trials.
- Meet with the regulatory team
