Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a POTENTIAL opportunity for a Medical Laboratory Technician at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Monday - Friday (8 hour shifts)

Job Responsibilities
Screens patient information and collects and processes specimens for testing.
Performs testing in the Microbiology, Chemistry, Serology, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Immunohematology sections including specimen receipt, preparation, analysis, and reporting of results.
Checks patient identification.
Orders and accessions tests into the Composite Health Care System.
Position Requirements
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have commenced from a US accredited program.
Completion of High school with courses in general science, biology, psychology and chemistry is mandatory.
Possess a current certification or equivalent as a Medical Technologist by the American Medical Technologists
Possess a minimum of two years of experience within the last three years as a Medical Laboratory Technologist.
BLS Certification.
