Senior Medical Director- Cardiovascular - Clinical Development- Fully Remote


A Top-3 CRO is looking for an experienced Senior Medical Director to lead their Cardiovascular Therapeutic Area Strategy. They currently operate globally across all phases, collaborating with high numbers of biotech and pharma sponsors.


In this position, you will lead their medical strategy, planning phase I to IV clinical trials (reviewing protocol, eligibility requirements, site selection, selecting endpoints/managing FDA interactions etc.). Moreover, you will apply your business acumen and market knowledge, managing relationships with pharma and biotech clients.


To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • MD with board certification/eligibility in cardiology or similar. Foreign qualifications are accepted.
  • Previous experience in Clinical Development for Cardio clinical trials while at a CRO or similar company
  • Capacity to liaise with sponsors to agree on Medical Strategy and participate in bid defence meetings.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in Business Development, Project Management, and Pharmacovigilance
