Our client is a well-established, international (not US-based) biopharmaceutical company founded in the late 90's. Having realized significant commercial success over the past 30 years, they are embarking on an extensive expansion plan. Currently, they have more than 15 pre-clinical stage and a half dozen clinical stage R&D programs. Therapeutic areas of focus include oncology, immunology, metabolic diseases and antivirals.
Key Responsibilities:
Pipeline Development: collaborate with the team, including the US Head of Operations to shape and enhance the strategic direction of our therapeutic pipeline
Medical Project Assessment: conduct comprehensive medical assessments of projects, utilizing extensive knowledge of U.S. clinical practices
Clinical Development Strategy Oversight: critically evaluate and provide insights on the clinical development strategies and plans for ongoing projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and adherence to industry standards
Qualifications (Required):
Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or equivalent qualification is required
Clinical Experience: 5+years of experience as a treating clinician
R&D Expertise: 10+ years of in-depth experience in clinical development (small and large molecules preferred)
