Medical Biller - Remote | WFH

Position Summary

As a Medical Biller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient billing to Major Medical payers for Home Infusion and Specialty product lines. Your responsibilities include maintaining high standards of accuracy, meeting performance goals, and resolving issues related to high dollar accounts receivable. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize the patient experience while adhering strictly to HIPAA, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Training

High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.

Fluency in both Spanish and English.

Minimum Of 1 Year Of Relevant Experience.

Preferred experience in pharmacy, home infusion, or specialty pharmacy drug billing.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.

Essential Job Duties

Ensure timely and accurate submission of invoices to payers for products and services.

Verify quantities and prices for nursing services accurately.

Confirm proper authorization and documentation prior to billing.

Submit invoices only for authorized and confirmed services and products.

Complete and verify all billing documentation thoroughly before claim submission.

Adhere strictly to Regulatory and Payer Guidelines, as well as organizational policies and procedures.
