We are looking for a dedicated Medical Biller to join our team! In this role, you will play a crucial part by assisting clients with insurance billing, ensuring all necessary documentation is processed accurately and timely. You'll engage closely with clients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies, leveraging your strong attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with insurance claims processing, including private insurance and Medicaid/Medicare
Process all required insurance forms accurately
Guide patients through billing and insurance procedures, ensuring all forms and signatures are collected
Collaborate with healthcare providers to gather billing information and ensure accuracy
Enter billing and payment details into the system with precision
Follow up on outstanding client payments as necessary
Handle phone inquiries, take messages, and provide client support
Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information
Verify insurance details and handle denials/rejections
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Strong customer service orientation
Previous Experience In Medical Coding Or Billing Preferred
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with Simple Practice and EPIC EHR systems is a plus
Credentialing experience is beneficial but not mandatory
