Medical Biller

Are you a tech-savvy individual with expertise in medical billing and insurance authorizations? We are seeking a Medical Biller who can provide high-quality and efficient billing functions. You will work both independently and as part of a supportive team environment. Your responsibilities will include managing aged accounts, addressing claim rejections, and submitting primary and secondary claims to insurance companies both electronically and by paper. We value openness to exploring and understanding issues of bias, equity, successes, and challenges.

Work Environment

Primarily remote/work-from-home position.

Occasional in-office time required.

Office space available for those who prefer working in-person.

Position Requirements

At least 3 years of current and progressive medical billing experience.

Ability to travel to the Grand Rapids office occasionally.

Experience in the mental health/substance abuse field is strongly preferred.

Prior Experience In a Non-profit Setting Is Preferred.
