Thriving private practice in Physical Therapy, is seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Billing and Coding Specialist to join our team. This remote-friendly position plays a crucial role in our Revenue Cycle team, focusing on filing medical claims, managing denials, handling patient collections, and assisting with provider credentialing. A positive demeanor and dedication to exceptional patient care are essential in our dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Submitting electronic and paper claims

Managing patient bills and posting electronic payments

Working closely with Medicare, Worker's Compensation, and Commercial insurance policies

Assisting in provider credentialing with acute attention to detail

Requirements

Proficiency in medical billing processes

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail

Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Problem-solving Skills And Critical Thinking Capabilities

Commitment to ongoing learning and staying updated with billing and coding changes

Prior credentialing experience is advantageous

Experience & Education

Minimum 3 years of experience in Medical Billing (Preferred)

Experience with ICD-10 coding for at least 2 years (Preferred)

Medical billing certificate or equivalent practical knowledge

Previous credentialing experience is a plus

Compensation

Hourly pay starting at $18-20 / hour based on experience

Bonus pay and incentive bonuses available
