Florida Woman Care, a Unified Women's Healthcare affiliate, is seeking Medical Assistants to join Royal Women's Care, a newly formed practice in Palm Beach County. The Medical Assistant supports the OB/GYN physicians and office staff by providing clinical and administrative assistance. This role involves preparing patients for exams, assisting with procedures, and managing patient records.
Responsibilities
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
Assist physicians during exams and minor surgeries.
Collect and record patient medical histories and vital signs.
Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician.
Perform basic lab tests and handle specimens.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
Maintain clean and organized examination rooms and equipment.
Provide patient education and support regarding treatments and procedures.
Update and maintain accurate patient records in the EHR system.
Qualifications
Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
At least one year experience in a medical office, preferably in OB/GYN.
Strong clinical and administrative skills.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Proficiency with EHR systems and basic computer skills.
