Responsibilities
Manage and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Coordinate appointments between patients, physicians, and insurance companies
Oversee billing processes, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations
Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and insurance companies, providing necessary assistance and information
Utilize medical software for various administrative tasks such as record keeping and billing
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards in all administrative tasks
Utilize knowledge of Medi-Cal and HealthCare.gov in the execution of duties
Provide administrative assistance as needed, ensuring the smooth operation of the healthcare facilities
Handle sensitive medical information with utmost integrity
Utilize Electronic Medical Record systems for efficient and effective record keeping.
Requirements
Proficiency in the use of medical software for administrative tasks
Familiarity with billing functions within a medical setting
Ability to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and laws
Experience with the HealthCare.gov platform for patient enrollment and data management
Ability to provide administrative assistance to medical staff and coordinate schedules
Proficient in the use of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems for patient data management
Experience with Medi-Cal insurance program for billing and administrative tasks
