Job Description

We are seeking a Medical Administrative Assistant (also known as Injury Coordinator) to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in coordinating services, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring the smooth operation of our programs.
Responsibilities
Manage and assign files, initiate contacts with employers, clients, claimants, and medical providers.
Set up and maintain files in various systems.
Schedule appointments and keep stakeholders informed of any changes or updates.
Interface with interdisciplinary providers and maintain provider databases.
Utilize tools for evaluating case risk and input all activities into databases.
Answer incoming calls and direct them appropriately.
Process documents using various office equipment.
Continuously improve job skills and knowledge through training and research.
Requirements
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
Experience In Healthcare-related Disciplines Preferred.
Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology or willingness to learn.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Customer service mindset and empathy for injured individuals.
