Media Associate (YouTube Paid Media Buying) | 4 Month Contract | $40/hour!

A toy company is looking for a Media Associate to help implement and optimize media campaigns within Google Ads, ensuring effective performance across key content series. The ideal candidate will have 1-2+ years of experience in YouTube Media Buying and execution, a strong understanding of SEO practices, and proficiency in using YouTube analytics tools as well as prior experience in the Toy/Kid, Entertainment, or Retail sectors.

Job Details

HYBRID: 4 days a week on-site in El Segundo, CA

SCHEDULE: 8AM - 5PM, Mon. - Fri.

PAY: $40.00/hr

TEMP: 4 months duration

Responsibilities:

• Aid in transforming the company's Media Buying Strategy into campaigns within Google Ads. This involves setting up campaigns, managing traffic, optimizing performance, and maintaining pacing for key drivers and content series.
• Keep track of competitors and overall industry trends to recommend campaign improvements as necessary.
• Implement real-time adjustments to enhance channel performance and media efficiency.
• Work together with the Integrated Marketing Communication teams to improve YouTube paid media campaigns.
• Assist Senior Media Partners by configuring campaigns in the system, including setting targeting parameters, managing keyword lists, uploading creative assets, crafting ad copy, and executing A/B testing plans provided by the management team.
• Provide support to Senior Media Partners during weekly reporting calls for each brand.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to work on-site in El Segundo, CA!
• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a similar field.
• 1-2+ years of general experience, with a minimum of 1-2 years in YouTube Media Buying and execution.
• Prior experience in the Toy/Kid, Entertainment, or Retail sectors.
• Proficiency in the YouTube platform, Google Ads, Google’s Display & Video 360 software, and YouTube analytics tools
• Understanding of SEO techniques, keyword research, and content optimization
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for reporting tasks, including calculations and pivot tables
