Mechanical Maintenance Technician

On behalf of our reputable, and stable Energy Industry client; we are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including how fluid drives and torque converters operate
• Understanding the principles of hydraulics and fluid mechanics as they pertain to fluid drives and torque converters
• Ability to disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble fluid drives and torque converters
• This includes machining parts, replacing worn components, and ensuring precise assembly
• Machinery maintenance, specifically with fluid drives and torque converters
• Meet or exceed original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specification

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Significant practical experience in automotive or industrial
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues effectively and efficiently
• Precision in performing maintenance tasks to ensure reliability and safety
• Ability to clearly communicate issues, solutions and instructions to colleagues or customers
• Attention to detail
• Comfortable in a shop environment
