BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BSME required; MSME is a plus.
  • 8+ years professional hands-on electro-mechanical or mechanical design experience with design/project responsibility.
  • Skilled at communicating and creating a cohesive team environment.
  • Up to 20% travel may be required between locations.
  • Must possess valid U.S. Driver’s License.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Background checks are required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experienced in leading technical interviews and candidate screening.
  • Comfortable having difficult conversations.
  • Leads by example.
  • Enjoys mentorship and coaching.
  • Experienced in consumer products or medical devices industries.
  • Proficiency in presenting engineering designs, proposals, and reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Champion adherence to standards, processes, tools, templates, and best practices that build and sustains the AC brand. Drive the improvement of AC tools and processes as part of a collaborative team.
  • Collaborate with AC Business Development Team to develop client relationships.
  • Manage how engineering resources are assigned projects.
  • Support your employees by assisting in their career development.
  • Foster a culture of mentorship that supports coaching and growth of AC team members.
  • Ensure customers are delighted with all AC products and services. Take responsibility when AC performance falls short and work collaboratively to make it right.
  • Participate in hiring the best people for Andrews Cooper.
  • Assist in business development and proposal writing. Provide design concepts, labor and material estimates, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Engage as a PM or engineer on a manageable level of projects.
  • With the support of HR, address performance issues through coaching, disciplinary action, or dismissal.
  • Facilitate performance reviews and administrate merit increases, bonusing, and promotions.

The salary range for this position is based onnational rates. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Base Salary: $90,000 to $185,000
