Position Title: Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager
Fortville Feeders Inc. is looking for a project manager with a background in mechanical engineering to fill one of its key roles for project management and sales support. This position reports through the engineering and sales areas directly to the President of the company.
In this remote role, this person will contribute to the yearly sales goals of our parent company, Fortville Feeders, and receive a bonus for booking performance. We would like the candidate to live near the Charlotte, NC Metro area to service our many customers and prospects in that region. This person will work directly with our sales arm, ITS Parts Automation, and our representative sales companies in each region to gather project details, communicate them to our manufacturing operation, and merge the process back to the customer in the form of a formal solution proposal.

Concepting and quoting the right parts presentation solution
Communication skills between our internal staff and the customer
Drive and follow up with our customers
Create approval drawings on the projects identified (Autodesk proficiency).
Problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Computer literacy for Microsoft Office and use of a CRM.
Knowledge of manufacturing and industrial automation.
