Job Description:


  • Mechanical Engineer or related discipline with years of experience with the following skills.
  • Experience in change control activities (Change Order Creation & Execution) and document management requirements.
  • Mechanical Background with Good Knowledge in Machined Parts, Sheet Metals and Plastics.
  • Wide knowledge in GDT techniques. (GDT certified is a Plus).
  • Should be able to interact/communicate & handle the supplier independently on Engineering needs.
  • Should have very good experience in CAD (Preferably Solidworks, ACAD) and PLM (Preferably Agile ).
  • Assist the team in creating, maintaining, and improving controlled technical documentation such as prints, procedures, bill of materials, and routers.
  • Support in assembly builds for the medical device systems., development/update of assembly procedures and manufacturing process includes product specifications.
  • Hands on exposure to IQ, OQ and PQ (ie., process validations, equipment qualifications, engineering qualifications etc.,)
  • Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMP) (e.g.: ISO13485 / 21 CFR Part 820) to business partners.
  • Knowledge of various processing applications is a plus such as machining, finishing, forging, casting, welding, cleaning, heat treat and molding, etc.
  • Development of tools and fixtures for manufacturing line is an added advantage.
  • Collaborates with business partners and peers to define validation and change control activity requirements for individual projects.
  • Work with cross functional team environment by interacting with Suppliers/Vendors & SMEs (QA, RA, R&D, SQA) based on the need basis in order to roll out the change implementations.
  • Handling product non conformances (NCMR) and investigation of CAPAs are added advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of risk assessments using tools such as Process/Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA /DFMEA).
  • Must have experience in preparation and execution of validation plans, validation protocols, equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ).
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing / six sigma would be plus.
