Title: Opto-ME

Duration: Vendor

Location: Redmond, WA

Hours: Minimum 40 Hours/Week

Role

• Develop detailed mechanical designs for complex systems
• Create and manage models in SolidWorks
• Build and test prototypes
• Design and conduct tests to validate design compliance to requirements
• Prepare and deliver design reviews
• Collaborate with systems, electrical, optical, and software engineers to integrate subsystems into designs
• Contribute to multiple simultaneous projects of varying scope
  
  
  

Skills

• 5+ years ME design with optics experience in consumer electronics/goods, medical devices or similar industry.
• Experience with NX or Solidworks.
• Experience with test fixture and camera mounts.
• Experience with camera and modules to work on complex electro-opto-mechanics and communicate with engineering leaders.
  
  
  

Education: Bachelors’ degree in BSME, MSME preferred

Salary range for this position is $50/hr to $70/hr (Equivalent to 100k to 140k). Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
