Objective:

Sarto Countertops is seeking a driven individual to join our fast-growing stone countertop team as a Countertop Templater/Measure Technician. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in countertops, construction, or a related industry, a passion for customer service, and the ability to excel in a self-motivated role.

About this Role:

Sarto Countertops is seeking a Countertop Templater/Measure Technician. Candidate must be efficient, detail oriented and proficient with basic mathematical skills. The ideal applicant will have experience in the countertop, construction, or other related industry, and will have strong written and verbal communication skills.

All employees must pass drug and background test. A clean driving record and license are required. Company vehicle and technology will be provided.

Responsibilities:

· Measure countertops using Laser Template Equipment in customers’ homes or businesses (ex. Kitchen, bathrooms, etc.)

· Build high-quality digital templates according to company standards and specifications

· Provide clear communication and expectations to customers, as well as resellers and other contractors

· Communicate with Project Managers, Sales Team regarding job specifications

· Drive mid-range distances between projects in and around the NE Kansas area

· Solve problems in the field to complete the work with a high degree of detail and quality

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Clean driving record and valid driver’s license

· Ability to pass a background screen

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Team player who can work with a variety of different personalities

· Self-motivated with a pride in high-quality workmanship

· Basic knowledge of mathematical principles, basic analytical skills, and ability to use and read a tape measure is a must

· Ability to apply mathematical skills to complete CAD drawings, maintain records and reports

· Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software

· Ability to work in a variety of environments including, new construction, homes, commercial sites, and office environments.

· Clean cut, professional appearance and demeanor
