Job Description

The Legislative Affairs Division has posted a Legislative Intern vacancy in Lansing. The Intern will provide research and administrative support to the MDCR Legislative Affairs Division.

The Work Will Include
  • Bill analysis
  • Public Policy analysis
  • Tracking legislation
  • Observing Michigan Senate and Michigan House of Representative sessions
  • Observing legislative committees
  • Drafting testimony for legislative committees
This is a virtual internship which may offer/require some in-person obligations.

Additional Requirements And Information

At the time of the internship, the applicant must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.

Applicants who are working toward a degree in social sciences, communication, journalism, public policy and public administration and/or law are preferred.
