MBA Intern - Operations

Frontera Health is developing a tech-enabled platform to provide pediatric therapies for rural families in need. Our platform leverages AI/ML to establish the foundational video-based data model for early intervention and developmental disorders. By working with parents and caregivers in rural communities, we aim to increase access to care, improve health equity, and deliver personalized treatment for better outcomes.

As Frontera continues to scale, we will continue to expand services and product offerings to better serve the families and providers in our communities.

About the Role:

In this exciting internship, you will play a critical role in supporting Frontera Health's strategic growth by developing a dynamic marketplace model. This model will be instrumental in managing and scaling our client pipeline while ensuring we meet provider capacity needs in both current and future markets.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, People, Business Development and Product, to gain a comprehensive understanding of Frontera Health's business model and growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of Frontera Health's target markets, including rural healthcare landscapes, pediatric therapy needs, and competitor landscape.
  • Develop a comprehensive marketplace dynamics model that factors in client acquisition strategies, provider capacity limitations, and projected growth. This may include customer report building in our EHR, Central Reach.
  • Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to forecast client demand and provider capacity needs in both current and expansion markets.
  • Identify and recommend operational strategies to optimize client onboarding, provider allocation, and resource utilization.
  • Create clear and concise presentations to communicate your findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Assist with the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of the marketplace model.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate enrolled in a reputable MBA program, with a strong academic record.
  • Proven analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach to tackling challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for healthcare innovation and a desire to make a positive social impact.
  • Ability to work for a minimum of 60 days

We have determined a salary range for this position that takes into account several factors including experience, knowledge, education, skills, and abilities. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline and the exact salary will be determined based on the individual's qualifications and experience, with consideration given to the factors listed above. All full time employee benefits include a stake in shared success through stock options, health benefits, 401(k) plan, and responsible PTO.

Expected salary range in Denver

$35—$40 USD
