Job Purpose
You'll be a dynamic educator and leader committed to nurturing diverse students within our multicultural community. We seek individuals who are passionate about personalized learning, adaptable to change, and eager to innovate in their teaching methods.
Division: Secondary School
FLSA: Exempt
Position Status: 10-month employe
Hours per week: 40 hours (1.0 FTE)
Start Date: August 1, 2024

Responsibilities
Foster a collaborative culture within the Mathematics, Science, and teams.
Design learning experiences that challenge and support diverse learners, emphasizing concept-based teaching.
Uphold mission and values, focusing on leadership and sustainability in education.
Serve pastoral roles, including leading student advisory groups and participating in extracurricular activities.
Provide timely, constructive feedback on assessments to promote student growth.
Manage classrooms effectively, addressing academic, social, and emotional dimensions of learning.
Maintain proactive communication with parents to keep them informed about student progress.
Supervise Leadership Projects as part of the program.
Engage enthusiastically in Professional Development opportunities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Master's preferred) in a relevant field.
Passion for education with substantial experience teaching Mathematics.
Enthusiasm for teaching in a multicultural, multilingual environment.
Commitment to equity, inclusion, inquiry-based pedagogy, and continuous learning.
Experience with IB MYP and IBDP preferred; other curriculum backgrounds considered.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and collaborative skills.
