Reporting to Director of Materials Management, this position is responsible for the supervision of Purchasing, Receiving and Distribution O.R. Inventory and linen
This position is responsible for the efficient and accurate day-to-day operations, recommendations for improvement opportunities such as cost saving and quality development and process enhancements ,developing and maintaining a comprehensive portfolio of medical products in the main warehouse and operating room as well as all hospital supply locations.
This position is also responsible for the delivery to and maintenance of all linen and supplies to all nursing floors.
This position directly manages and supervises all Material Management and Receiving and Distribution personnel to include goal settings and evaluations
This position works inter departmentally with the department directors to manage supplies and supplies within their respective departments
Qualifications
Experience in purchasing and distribution functions in a hospital environment including purchasing administration and techniques, inventory control functions, contract negotiations, and supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field with additional courses in purchasing ,cost analysis,and/ or accounting principles preferred
