Mass Timber and Pre-Fabrication Specialist

Job summary:


In this sales and business development position, you are responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth within an assigned territory. This role requires an understanding of the construction industry, as it relates to mass timber and prefabrication methods.

Your responsibilities:


  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients in the mass timber and prefabrication sector.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate target markets and expand customer base.
  • Initiate relevant collaborations via workshops, conferences, tradeshows, etc.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision -makers, architects, developers, contractors, and other stakeholders as it relates to the mass timber and pre-fabrication sector.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper market strategies and competency in all SIGA provided solutions.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain an active sales pipeline.
  • Conduct product presentations.
  • Meet growth plans of 20% year over year.
  • Maintain current knowledge and expertise of applications, products, competitors, and market trends.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Your qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, construction management, civil engineering, sustainable design, wood science or industry experience in mass timber and pre-fabrication.
  • Technical background in construction, design, Sales, or Business Development.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Work authorization in USA.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Must have a current passport by start of employment.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

  • Salary: $55,000-$75,000 per year


What else you need to know:


You will be carrying out the above-mentioned tasks from your home office. However, this position may require 25% of travel to Switzerland, Canada and throughout the US for overnight stays that may be one night to a few weeks. Travel requirements for daily sales and business development may require 40%-60%.
