Job Description
The Marketing Strategy Manager – Fiber Acquisition is a customer-focused, analytical and collaborative driver of outcomes for our consumer division. You will be a strong communicator that can synthesize complex marketplace, operational, organizational, technical and customer inputs into effective competitive strategies for driving customer growth, increasing revenue and containing costs in one or more parts of the customer journey. To be successful in this position, you will have an ownership mentality around driving business results, with the ability to influence, collaborate with and drive progress among many cross-functional teams.
As a Marketing Strategy Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include:
Develop and use deep customer understanding to drive acquisition of fiber consumers by prioritizing our marketing activities, customer experience, pricing, messaging and channel activities
Drive cross functional collaboration with pricing/offers, creative, media, integrated planning, operations and others to ensure a well-planned, data-driven and optimal approach to acquisition marketing
Understand the unique nuances of the markets where Brightspeed operates, and develop strategies tailored to bring success on a market by market level
Monitor performance data and lead cross-functional ideation on new initiatives, changes and test & learn opportunities to ultimately recommend paths to improve performance
Develop effective processes, communications & collaboration approaches for prioritization, decision-making, measurement and change management
Track and measure marketing outcomes including marketing tactics, new leads, sales activities, and ROI
Identify market trends with customers, competitors, new technology and marketing capabilities
Design and implement marketing strategies aligned with business targets
May perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics or related field
7+ years of business and/or marketing strategy work.
Demonstrated ability to formulate and communicate acquisition strategies to execution focused partners
3+ years of experience in telecommunications
Self-motivation and self-discipline: complete work in a timely manner with minimal oversight
Analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills: need to be able to absorb a great deal of information about the business, analyze the data and make clear and useful recommendations
Listening, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills: need to interact with Brightspeed employees at various levels of the organization and must be able to do so with diplomacy and effective communication skills
Communication skills: Need to be able to communicate concisely and persuasively across PowerPoint, email and Teams calls, with executives, peers and frontline staff
