JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Account Executive’s role is responsible for daily contact between the agency and client accounts. The Sr. Account Executive ensures the timelines, cost-effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the agency’s work to promote a positive client relationship. The Sr. Account Executive interfaces with various agency departments to move projects through the agency on behalf of the clients, participates in the development of strategic plans and is responsible for carrying out the plan on a daily basis.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop solid working relationship and function as a trusted advisor and point of contact for the client
  • Create and nurture client relationships and assist in determining marketing needs and establishing program metrics
  • Maintain daily contact with client at appropriate levels, respond in a timely fashion and hold/attend weekly client status meetings as needed
  • Act as conduit between client and creative team and provide information and feedback regarding needs and expectations
  • Proactively communicate modifications and risks to client and ensure client signoff/approvals are obtained on all appropriate phases of a project
  • Provide team with all information, action items and timing in an organized fashion according to standard operating procedures to facilitate the delivery of high impact work
  • Manage up to the Account Lead by providing all relevant updates, flagging issues and bringing proactive solutions
  • Anticipate and solve problems in a calm and methodical manner


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business communications, public relations, business administration or equivalent preferred
  • Three+ years of advertising agency or equivalent marketing experience where excellent client/customer service has been critical to job function
  • Exemplary organization skills with highly developed attention to detail
  • Excellent writing skills, especially in the area of business correspondence
  • Strong multi-tasking and project management skills for a high volume of work
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
